No one touches my new Justis Case!!!

X Breaker

I just received my new Justis case, which came with a nice black dust bag.

The case is very strong and well built but is also amazingly light.

I will not bore you with the details on workmanship, we all know Jack's work is just simply elegant and classy. It is like holding a piece of art in my hand.

I was supposed to play pool tonight. It was raining. After thinking hard about it, I decided to stay home because I did not want my new Justis case to get wet...

"Why can't you use another case?" you ask...

"Well, if you have seen my Justis, you would understand why I will never be able to settle for anything less.."

Please allow me to share the pictures of my pride with you here.

Richard

This is going to be my last case...that is...if I will not ever decide to upgrade to another Justis case.

Thank you so much Jack.:)

I really like the tooling designs on your case, they are great! The elongated diamonds - are those insets, or just tooled and tipped with gold?

wow great looking case richard, i hear the lower mainland has been getting its fair share of rain lately, hope it doesnt continue through next month as i should be living there before the new year.

When only the best will do. Great choice in design!! The diamonds are a nice touch. I would not have brought it out in the rain either.

Richard, that is one sweet case!!!! Could you take more pix of it, like of the whole case please? I keep getting distracted by the dust bag.

I'm like you, I like my x-breaker so much that whenever I look at new cues I wanna buy, nothing appeals to my eye unless it has purpleheart in it. I definitely am gonna stick with a matching pair for a while!

I am not sure how the inlay was done, all I can tell you is that it looks and feels like a million dollars.

I keep looking at the case last night, and I am just so impressed.

I have no idea how Jack could come up with something so original and tasteful. It is amazing.

Jack's case keeps going up in value. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a case to get one as soon as possible.

I have taken more pictures. Thank you for the compliment.:)

Jack even signed on the bottom of the case, which is a pleasant surprise.:)

This picture does not do the case justis at all. The finish and the quality of the leather is much much more stunning in person.

This case is so perfect in every single way. Thank you so much Jack.

I think, but I am not sure, the leather used in the inlays are lizard and elephant.

The case is actually very strong despite how light it is. The PVC casing really serves to protect the cues, and the partition protects the cues from touching each other.

The color of the case even matches my breaking cue.:)

Now I need a brown playing cue, with an ivory lizard wrap, to go with the case and my break cue.

Thank you so much, Jack.

Richard

Cue case

Richard .... You might want to take some orange street cones with you to put around your case at the Pool room to keep people away from it .... lol

It is, indeed, a beautful case, done in the very best of taste. It looked like a 2 x 4, is that right?

You know, a Bacote or CoCo X-breaker with maybe, curly handle would look good with that case? .... lol

If I was you, I would document everything about that case, plus your cues, and call my insurance man.

Hi Scott,

Yes, I will get some of those police crime scene tapes and put them around my case when I go to the pool hall..:D

I had Jack creat whatever he wanted. I totally trusted his judgement and taste--I agree it was done in the best of taste.

It is a 2x4, and feels so light even when it is full. Sometimes I have to check if it is indeed full just because of how light it feels.:) I have another 3x6 Justis with the old tubes. Even when the 3x6 is empty, it feels much heavier--I am not sure if it is just in my mind, but this new one really feels amazingly light yet strong..

I do not know what Jack did, but the brown stain around the diamond inlays are actually done in a darker tone than the rest of the brown. It really brings out the beauty of the inlays.

Anyone has a cue with ivory lizard wrap for sale? I want a matching cue for my case.:)

i spoke with jack and his inspiration for this design was not from my work after all. they look very similar but then again the shapes are fairly common. i guess this proves great minds do think alike. ;) :D
