No Queens Cup on Youtube

Why no Queens Cup World Team event on Youtube?

I understand that capitalism is the true American religion, but there are lots of folks who can't afford pay per view and deeply appreciate seeing pool on Youtube.

Must promoters ignore the average Joe and cater only to those who can afford pay per view? Not the best way to promote the game, methinks...

It streamed for free when it was live. Where is it PPV?

I was unable to watch the live stream for free. I assume that DVDs of the event are being sold, which I consider another form of PPV.

And I don't have a problem with PPV or DVD sales, if you can also see it free on Youtube...

Er, would you have a problem with PPV or DVD sales, if you CAN'T see it free on youtube?
It would almost negate the point of selling it, if it's made free on youtube.

I prefer live streams (quality ones) because I like the suspense of not knowing ahead of time who won. This is a drawback to Youtube, in addition to Youtube presenting long matches in multiple segments.

But I also prefer FREE live streams, because I can't afford to pay to watch pool.

I also believe free streams and Youtube attract new players, who may or may not wish to pay in the future.

There are also events that can ONLY be seen on Youtube...

I think there's far too much emphasis in making a quick buck and far too little emphasis on attracting new players...

Sure, I would love high quality things for free too. I wish my car was free.
But that's different from "I think cars should be free".

Guys like TAR and Accustats don't have "attracting new players" as their main goal.
Their goal has to be "make money" because otherwise they go broke and cannot provide streams anymore.
"Attracting new players" must always come 2nd place to that or they cease to exist.

If TAR or Dragon or Accu-stats wants to upload their own stuff to youtube then more power to them.
But it's not right for someone else to upload something without their permission,
giving away the product for free that they're trying to sell.

Sounds like you want your cake, and to eat it,too.

There were several streams of the Queen's Cup, but nothing I would call quality.

I had a guy on here ask me if I could burn him a copy of my DVD....

Really.

I think all Lamborghini's should be free.. I want one but I can't afford one right now. :)

I didn't know you put out a DVD, what is it?
