What's up with this?

First place is $36k. I suspect it drops quickly from there. Expenses are high, the field is deep. For most players its simply a business decision. I don't blame them a bit.

I understand the cost may be high and it may not be in their best interest but it would still be nice to see more Americans representing. We do still have a lot of great players that stand a chance there.
