I really like playing no slop meaning intended pocket . You shouldn't have to call the obvious shot but that's up to you and your opponent . My question is this say your opponent is shooting a ball in the corner and misses it the ball goes two rail into the side pocket . Now he loses his turn at the table because this was a slop shot but should the pocketed ball get spotted or should it stay down ?
What do you think about taking the slop out of nine ball & ten ball ?
I have seen it way to many times where someone is shooting the money ball in the corner and misses the pocket goes two rails off a ball in another corner . Why on earth should a player be rewarded for missing a ball ?
Thanks ... Larry
