No Taiwan at World Team?

Anyone know why Taiwan retracted their team from the event?
They would have been a huge force to reckon with.

Only thing I can gather is that they might have been turned off by the prize reduction

Taipei did not withdraw from the event, they were never in it. The reduction in the prize fund was not announced until a couple of days before the event started, As far as I am aware no teams withdrew for this reason. Now let us hope those who did win money will get it paid to them.

I am sure, most of them already got their money.
I heared much about problems with money in the past, but i never saw that happen over here in Europe. :grin-square:

I agree! A huge force to recken with indeed! How about a line up of Jung-Lin Chang, Ching-Shun Yang, Pin-Yi Ko, Fong Pang Chao and Po-Cheng Kuo? Their talent pool is sooooo deep! I could name 15-20 more that would also do some major damage on the table!
