nobody told this seller the market is down!!

Typo

I saw that auction, and immediately thought it was either a typo ($350 is closer) or the owner is smoking his lawn.

if the seller is an az'er i don't mean any insult, it just seems a little high for that cue.

There have been many strange things lately on E-bay. The L that was up for sale with the leather wrap was moving right along, but the seller had a change of heart and decided to keep the cue.

I'll e-mail this seller and at least let him know the value is off.

It lost me that much!!

I know you will be gentle with him Chris, remember he has own it since it was new.
He may just be trying to get back all the money it has lost him. :D :D

My favorite is still the lady that tries to sell that old 4 point Joss for $15,000 from time to time. She swears Bill swears it's not his, but I'll be damned if it isn't an ealy one when from when Dan was still around.

Wondering if you ever got in touch with the seller and if he ever responded?

I e-mailed him and referred him to the PalmerCollector web site with values.

NOW he has now added this into the description:

"Original Palmer cue Emerald Green one owner new in 1971 ! This Cue is 98%!!! See Bluebook by Brad Simpson 1st edition Page # 327

Level 2

Model M

98% 3200.00

90% 2700.00

70% 2000.00"

So, he thinks it's a Model M - but the pics are a Model B.

Wow, I don't know what to say. I'll go take a cruise in my red Ferrari Boxer, the silver one with the Audi logo, and think it over.

Chris

Ps. I'm going to e-mail him and offer him $24.95 for the 1st edition Blue Book at least.
