How are the A/C units at JR pockets now. I remember u posting that they were struggling two months back. Thanks.
 
The AC units were repaired in early April after the March event.. In April it was great. Last month it was okay only because someone went over to one of the units and turned it all the way down. It froze the unit so we had to make it for a while on the one unit left, but in a reality it really wasn't that bad.

The owner is actually putting money into the bar on a regular basis now. Just two weeks ago they replaced the whole bar top counter. The manager plays pool him self and he has tried to make it out this time around but he's been swamped with work and family events. With an individual like himself involved this tournament stands to be very successful in the future as far as I'm concerned.
 
Another note guys the ring games have been great the last two months..I know sometimes it's hard getting up early the morning of the tournament..So come one up and have some fun...there also has been nice action the last two months on both days..Later today I'll try to post some hotels with descent prices..

Great news guys...I talked to Chen tonight and I think he is going to accept my offer and play at the tournament at the billiard den..I told him I would pay his entry and he smiled and said okay....The funny thing is I said you probably will have to give up the 7 out and he said that it would be easier than giving everyone games in my tournament...so everyone come on out...without Chen here anyone could snap this one off...

A couple of guys have called me from Houston and said they were coming up along with a few of the regulars so far..

Since Chen is that good, What's stopping tournaments from saying "Thanks , but no thanks you can't play".

Isn't this a sign of desparation.....you're going to pay someone to go play in another tournament so people will come to yours? LMAO :D

If the guys coming from Houston are Chris White or Billy Sharp you might as well let Chen play otherwise they'll end up splitting.

I'm sending Chen to that other tournament because someone was a(no explitives)...The billiard den could have made their event happen on Sunday , but someone desided to butt heads with me so just think of it as pay back.

I like it when Chen plays at my event. Either he wins or he loses, but when he wins it's awesome to watch because you know he's at the top of his game, and the potential for learning is endless. He made a shot last month in the tournament that guys are still talking about in my pool hall...

Chen would have been smarter to re-negotiate his ranking in your tournament. :) I think that shot may have cost him more than he knew at the time, LOL.
 
Guys if your going to take the bet post it on here or email it to me so I can figure it out...Some one sent me a text and I have no idea who it was..
 
Now everyone go to Ray's page and notice that he is using the rankings from my tournament for his some how...lol....this is getting way to funny....desperate times for desperate measures...
 
I'm adding the option on the second table for a $50 Ring Game on Friday night...don't forget guys there has been plenty of action at these tournaments...everyone is hungry come and feel the rush...
