Northeast 9 ball tour what happened ?

Josh Brothers sure was hitting 'em sporty this past weekend in Laurel, MD at a Hampton Ridge mini tournament on Sunday: race to 7, double elimination, $50 entry fee, 8-player field. The finals match, he just plowed forward. His tableside demeanor was very professional in the tournament.

Some players just cannot stand losing. Their whole personality changes when they're stuck, and in the end, it hurts them more than the others who have to endure the bad behavior. There's a local young gun in my neck of the woods who always has an excuse when he loses. Somebody was talking when he was shooting, somebody walked in front of the pocket, the tournament started 15 minutes earlier than he wanted, somebody flinched when he pulled the trigger, the equipment sucks, et cetera, et cetera. I really like the kid, but I do not like the unsportsmanlike conduct when he's losing.

There was a young player from Florida who ended up getting beat up pretty badly because of his behavior when he lost gambling in the Carolinas. I bet he will think twice before he behaves in this manner again.

What happened to the northeast 9ball tour? I have heard all kinds of stories from leon getting locked up for embeselment to Joss brothers cheating.I highly would doubt both as Joss Brothers can shoot a ton and was honest and Leon was a nice guy that did not appear to me would do any wrong.I have a ton of players visit my shop and say how can I get into something like that.I think the northeast 9 ball tour was a great thing.Will it be comeing back ? What happened anyhow?It was a great start for alot of players.Was it that planet pool took over the scene as they ran at the same time?

IT WAS THE NORTH EAST PLAYERS TOUR>RUN BY LEON MROZ who did embezzle all the money.tour ended 11/03 .It was the playoffs held at comet billiards in N.J.where leon asked all those in the money to hold checks for 2 wks,then 2 weeks weny by and asked for another extension..some players brought charges against leon and eventually those that did got paid..Yes he took the money and ran,seemed like a nice guy.Well hes finished in this area ,to many people out to get him..He had a good thing going..

yes you are right. i won $1000 bucks at comet that day but it took me months and months to collect. i was lucky most people did not get paid.
