Northfield, Viking Tourney

Has anyone heard anything about the Viking tournament at Northfield this weekend? It sure doesn't seem like it's getting promoted as much this year as in the past,I haven't been able to find much of a schedule.I'm hoping to hit a couple of events this year but I can't plan for any trips with out a couple of weeks notice at work.
 
Szuter and Leil Gay are playing for the hot-seat. Putnam is still playing on the one loss side.

Only 3 dates announced so far.

Chris Szuter beat Shawn Putnam to win the tourney. Shawn won the first set on the hill to force a second set, which Szuter won 7-4. The next viking stop is in Fiddlestix cafe in Canton, maybe someone can confirm the date.
 
congrats too chris i am glad to see him win,..hopefuly he will win the next stop since it is at his pool hall,..i will see chris in a couple weeks and i will have too take some off the extra cash off him,...lol

I enjoy watching Chris play too. He always has a smile on his face. Seriously, ALWAYS. Maybe that is just his expression, but he is very willing to laugh too. Plus, you haven't seen a light grip on a cue until you have seen Szuter. There is more space between the cue and his palm then there is between the cue butt and the floor!

Congrats to Szuter. He's a player with alot of natural talent and a great guy. Lots of fun to be around and travel with. :D
