Not a fan of "Low deflection" shaft...help me understand !!!

deflection is not tied to accuracy?
So if you miscalculate the amount of correction needed, you dont run the risk of missing the shot?
How is that not tied to accuracy?

No , what I said was.....

There are many other 'corrections' required when applying english beyond just CB deflection. Whether or not one can apply these corrections properly and consistantly is not the defining line that governs "accuracy".

Whether or not you personally have the capability to make the proper adjustment for either type of shaft is not indicative of that shaft's inherent 'accuracy'.

And are you really saying that ld shafts dont offer lower deflection than average maple shafts?
Just confused

Again....

There is no industry standard for deflection...

You tell me what the specific amount of reduction in deflection, say in percentage or physical dimension, is required for a given shaft to be considered 'LD" ? Whats the number and what 'standard' is that number based on?

Do you know in any certainty that 'every' shaft marketted as "LD" excedes every 'standard' shaft in that measurement?

My point is that you do not know the answer to any of those questions. Everything your basing your claims on are mearly assumptions made based on theoretical attributes applied to any shafts packaged as "LD" by any given manufacturer and again, the assumption that no 'standard' shaft is capable of falling into those areas.

There are absolutely 'standard' shafts out there capable of exibiting more or less "LD" characteristics than other 'standard' shafts and may even approach those marketted as "LD" shafts themselves. There just is no reference to say that if you are using a maple shaft that you are not using a shaft of less deflection than a range of other shafts or that if you are using a shaft packaged as "LD" that you are using a shaft with significantly less deflection than every other maple shaft ever manufactured.

Me and Colin Colenso used to get into some heated debates on here... It was funny because most of the time, we were thinking the same thing but wording it differently.

Then Colin left and I was stuck arguing with PJ.... Man that guy is a douche...

I used to play with a predator sneaky with an original 314. I ended up drilling out the foam core, cutting off the ferule and adding a new hard wood tenon with a standard ferule, most people who hit with that cue, said it was one of the best hitting cues they ever played with.

Weird you should mention that Jaden. My first LD shaft was a pre cat 314 that had a std ferrule on it and I loved it. It was on a Varney sneaky and damn that cue hit real good.
