about 2 years ago, a co-worker begged me to play on his APA league team. He gave me this so I would have a cue. I think It's a crest
within a month or so, my wife gave me the go ahead to purchase something a little nicer than what you can find hanging on a hook at Wal-mart. I still wasn't sure how long I would last so I saved myself some money and wen't with a McDermott.
So around February or March of this year, I needed a new tip put on my McDermott and a high level player let me use one of his cues. bad news for my wallet.
About two months ago I was perusing the pawn shops and came across this. Not any better than what I had, but it wasn't plain. Picked it up for next to nothing. (Note: I got my first 9-ball break and run with this one.)
and now.. I came across this guy yesterday and after consulting with a few knowlegeable pals, decided that it would look good in my hands. (My wife actually bought it... how cool is that?)
I've been breaking with this since a friend gave it to me for fixing his computer.
all of the above are nice and good, but these are my real pride and joy. Along with my table, these were my grandfathers, and were used by myself and each of my 18 cousins while we were growing up.
