Effective December 1, 2006

Re: Tournament Entry and Tour Card Fees

FREE = FREE

FREE ENTRY FEES FOR WOMEN and JUNIOR PLAYERS
The Viking Cue 9-Ball Tour, the largest of the regional tours in our country, with over $90,000 in added prize money each year, is pleased to announce that, starting immediately, we have made the following changes to the acceptance of women and junior players in our open events. To encourage participation in our sport by non-professional women and junior players (Jr = age 17 & under), the Viking Cue 9-Ball Tour will now be offering them FREE entry to all of our local $1,000- or $2,000-added events.

As of December 1, 2006, women and junior players will no longer be required to purchase a tour card. Tour cards will be optional for those players but will still be required if they wish to compete in our larger events or if they wish to compete in our amateur events.

This means that there will be absolutely no fees for women or junior players while competing in the local $1,000- or $2,000-added Viking Cue Open 9-Ball Tour events.

that's very cool, when will you be back in Florida? And how did the stop in Tampa turnout on November 4th.

I'm currently working on the schedule and hope to add several FL stops to it.

I am sure my wife will play in any of the tournaments if they are in Arizona.

Question...

What will your definition of "Non-Pro" women be?

No Top-32 Professionals?
No Touring Professionals? (I think there are 40+ Touring Pros now.)

How about Semi-Professionals? (Is half a Professional not a Professional?)

Just curious... I would like to attend one of your events to lurk and note your wardrobe choices.

:)

Will any Non-Pro Women or Junior Players from the AZ Forums be taking advantage of this offer ?

At our 1st event on the 2007 schedule hosted by Randolph's Billiards in Hickory, NC we had 9 players participate in our Free Entry Program (3 Junior Players and 6 Women Players).
