Number 10,000

That time has passed like one of our Louisiana hurricanes, gaining strength and momentum like only mother nature can. I had plans to write some kind of magical post for my 10,000th post but got caught up in the many great threads and posts on AZ Billiards like the one about Chas Clements & Kickin Chicken, so I'll just write in the moment. As usual, I got caught up in the excitement of renewal and faith in our fellow posters.

Learning new things is always a pleasure in and of itself. This post couldn't contain all of the things that I am so privileged to have experienced and learned in this forum for these many posts.

The friendships that I have developed as a result of being part of this family truly humbles me. I haven't always publicly acknowledged each and every one of you but rest assured, your posts don't go unnoticed by me or anyone else. The private PM's remain just that and the little green rep is always a reminder of one of our other friends, SmorgassBored.

There are many special people who I would like to publicly thank for your generosity in being my friend but I won't. It has been a fast and exhilerating ride and I hope that it continues for years to come. Suffice it to say that you are all part of my extended family and I value your opinions, even if I don't always agree with them.

I'm glad I missed number 10,000. That just confirms why it is so important to live in the moment. There is so much more happening right now that we don't have to live in the past nor the future. The reality of what's happening all around us is just as fascinating as what's going to happen in the future and our actions and words in this moment are what will truly affect the future anyway so go ahead and live in the moment. Life is a lot like pool. To be successful, you can't dwell on the past and you can't do your best here and now if you're craning your neck to see what's going to happen in the future.

The past is over; just let it go. The future will take care of itself so just be the best you can be at this particular moment in time.

Thanks to all of you who are members of AZ Billiards. You've all allowed me to have a glimpse of who you are and I look forward to getting to know all of you even more as opportunity presents itself.

Equally important in doing so, you have allwed me the opportunity to work on improving my own lot and I will continue to perservere toward that goal.

Thank you for all of your support and friendship. You've taught me a great deal and I continue to be a student in "the game of life".

Sincerely,
JoeyA
