Like every ball from every set. Definitely on the Premiers, Premiums and Standards. Also, did you make that cleaner in your profile pic?Multiple sets or balls from the same set?

I only have a set of the Aramith Tournaments and I cannot feel the numbers. FWIW, I also have a couple sets of Brunswick Centennials (made by Aramith) and cannot feel the numbers on those either.Like every ball from every set. Definitely on the Premiers, Premiums and Standards.

Nice! Thanks!First, huge shoutout to Glen for his assistance thus far on my project. I restored my Gold Crown I about two years ago with matching custom Gold Crown Light I built and I also restored a Gold Crown Cue Rack for my room. I've been using a bucket polisher for years to polish my ball sets (16 at current) but I always wanted a ball polisher in the Gold Crown motif to match the theme of my room. I've got enough left over 1" plywood to build it and I finally decided to start. I will say this: I know why Diamond charges $600 for their single platter. I'll be in it about $300-$375 in parts...

I tried playing with 3 different versions of Dynasphere pool balls. There’s only one version I’d consider ever getting.I don't feel the numbers on a used set of Centennial TV Tour Edition or Dynasphere (Platinum and Bronze). If your sets are old enough, I expect you would feel the numbers due to shrinkage. Not to turn this into another thread on new ball recommendations, but Dynasphere Gold are on Amazon for $219.99 and far better quality than the Aramith Premiers, Premiums, and Standards, and maybe Aramith's best sets.
tend to agree. dyna's are very good balls with tolerances as tight as Aramith but i wouldn't say they were 'far' better at all. Dyna's cheapest ball 'might' be a tad better than A'mith lo-end stuff but its not huge. i've only hit Dyna's once and that was in a billiard store. They played fine. Heard they stay cleaner a lil longer but as far as playing i don't think anyone could tell the difference.I tried playing with 3 different versions of Dynasphere pool balls. But aside from being less expensive than a new set of Centennials, quality is surely not better nor more attractive.
Thanks! I'm actually thinking of getting a set of Dynaspheres and selling my Aramiths just because we used Dynaspheres at league and I liked them.I don't feel the numbers on a used set of Centennial TV Tour Edition or Dynasphere (Platinum and Bronze). Thanks!I've measured lots of balls over the years with more sophisticated equipment than most have. The number are never flush with the body of the ball.
On really old sets, there could be a large difference, that is easily felt in the hands or seen by the eyes.
Right now I have a set of Premiers and two sets of the Crown Standards. All different ages. My newest set I am currently using and are about 6 years old and I can feel the numbers on all balls but not as well as the other older sets which I can feel very well. I'm glad I'm not crazy. LOL Well...I've measured lots of balls over the years with more sophisticated equipment than most have. The number are never flush with the body of the ball.

I can also feel them on all 15 ballsI've noticed on several Aramith sets that when I run my fingers over the black numbers I can feel them.
A) Does anyone else feel that?
B) Wouldn't that effect roll?
C) Am I crazy?
Thanks! Wtf how's nobody mentioned this before or at least from the search I did. Lol. It's got to add some sort of a wobble especially at low speeds I'd think. I wonder if the Dynaspheres are this way.I can also feel them on all 15 balls
