OB-1 Shaft For Sale

How hard is it to scan or take a photo of a receipt and send it to someone? Was it sent via normal air mail? I've dealt with Monto before, and he's a stand up guy. He even bothered to msg me to check if i've received the shaft before i had time to go down to pick it up. Such great communication should be the way to do things!

Is it so hard to give him the details he need so that he can verify it himself that the shaft is enroute? Less hassle to you at the end of the day, rather than him being at your back all the time.

That reminds me, i haven't received my item after 22 days as well. LoL, hopefully it arrives in 2 weeks time, if not i'll have to hassle someone too.

You can certainly call it frustration but the thing is there has been no communication.It is not a matter of 100usd.If he just comes up and says that he has shipped thru normal mail i would be at ease as i know my shaft wil arive in 4weeks or so.
But the tracking number he provided has first 2 letters as CP tha means it is priority mail.So the time frame would be 5 to 7 working days.

I am also worried that shaft is not lost in transit.

I buy and sell many things here and make sure to send a meesage after before and after of shiipping the item.Anyone who has dealt with me would vouch for that.

It's very easy for someone with common sense, ethics and responsibility.

It's seemingly very difficult for someone with no common sense or respect for their buyers.

It's impossible for someone who is lying.
 
There seems to be so many bad deals going on, so I can understand your (Mondo's) frustration. Unfortunately the bad guys always seem to win and walk away with the good guys money. Hope that this is not the case and you receive your shaft in good condition.

having you tried the tracking number on usps tracking......everything i've sent to the states has to be tracked on there site.it doesn't work on the parcelforce site.

It will only register on the sending and receiving end's EMS system if i'm not wrong. Thus, since Monto is in Thailand, it should tracked through the thailand post website, not the USPS.

Why even speculate? Jason claims he can track it via a phone number but won't provide it. If it's trackable by any website he isn't providing that either.

When someone is asked repeatedly to offer a simple proof and keeps ignoring the request and making lame excuses, it's obvious what is going on.

It seems like some people are confused here, i know jason and trust me if he says he has shipped the shaft it will be on its way 100% , Jason is stand up and his word is as good as anyones......Jonny
 
then track it through whatever national post service is in thailand.if you wanted the parcelforce number its on their website
 
Hi Everyone,

The track doesnt work in british or Thai websites.

I am 100% sure that Jason is not a scammer or i am not scared of being scammed.
The problem is there is no communication from Jason.If he just tells me that shaft would arrive in x number of days i would breathe easy.I am just worried its not lost or damaged during transit
 
I met Monto in person in Bangkok on Thursday night- he's a very nice and reasonable guy- he's just bothered by the lack of communication- I would feel the same way if I were him- all he wants is to know what's happening with his order and a timeframe in which too expect it.

I also got a look at the Olney he has for sale- darned nice looking cue- if I were in the market for one I'd take it in a heartbeat.:thumbup:

With such lack of communication, i reckon that's a good idea. Of course before doing it, you should notify the user for courtesy sake with timeline.

It's quite sad there are such people with almost no sense of responsibility and refuse to make the effort to communicate. Excuses like, i've got no time due to work, bla bla bla, just doesn't cut it. It's all about making the effort. When i was in the states and was selling some old text books, I made it an effort to stop by during my trip to find an internet cafe, pay the hour needed just for the 5 mins to send an email to the respective buyers to notify them that the books were posted(was a huge rush after the exams). Even when i could have just ignored it as i've mailed the items. It boils down to effort.

Nobody is confused. Jason doesn't need your support. He already said he has a working tracking number and phone number but won't provide it. If he'd clear that up with Monto it would be end of story. But he won't. It's absurd.

People who are "stand up" and "word is as good as anyones" would be quick to post tracking numbers or even receipts to put the buyers mind at ease.

Tracking numbers strating with "CP" indicate standard mail and it is not traceable. Not sure 100% though. A fellow english AZer could help us on this. A scanned slip from Jason will solve this out.
 
If based in the US. CP means priority mail, which is trackable. So it really depends on where it originates from eh? So are you sure with CP it means it's not trackable?
