I need to replace the ferrule on my OB Classic + Shaft. My cue man said he could use Titan, Juma, Antler, or the original OB Ferrule. He said he would have to contact OB to get there Ferrule material. He has the others in stock. Any recommendations on what I should have him use? And also what length should I have him do? He said the Antler would give the hardest hit. The Titan would be the most resistant to staining but can be brittle. He said he personally likes to use Juma for the best hit. Thanks Michael

If you're looking to keep it an OB Classic+, I would recommend putting it back like it was.

The Classic+ uses a carbon fiber bridge that spans the tenon and is inside the ferrule. Both it and the ferrule will need to be replaced together, and it's a fairly simple process.

I would recommend you have him email me or call our shop for more information. I'm currently in Las Vegas for the APA nationals, and won't be back in the office for a couple of weeks, but if you PM me here I'll give you my email address. He can email me and I can easily explain the process to him.
