As far as I know, it can only be done with radial and 3/8x10. They just retap it and it will accept both pins. I had a jump break shaft done like this and it worked super awesome.

Like another person said, the radial is taped to except the other pin. I have 2 Predator shafts that are originally for a radial pin and they have been made to also fit a 3/8x11. If it's done right the shafts still screw on either pin and fit tight.

a cue professional did the work to adapt the shaft to fit radial and 3/8-10 pins.
i have both pin size cues and it fits well on both of them.
that is the reason i had it done.
