In case some of you don't know, OB (OB1 and OB2 shafts) cues is making
butts now to go with their shafts, so they are making whole cues now.

There ad was in the VNEA magazine.

Does anyone have a complete cue from OB cues yet? IF so, give us a report on how they play.

I have been playing with a whole OB cue since August and I like it. Mine is just a tad bit on the heavy side, but I've read on their website how the weight can be adjusted, so I'm going to look into that. The cue originally came with an OB-1 shaft, but I just got my OB-2 shaft a couple of weeks ago and have been using that ever since. Love it!

OB cues have been selling full cues since around March. The cues were first released at the Super Billiards Expo in Valley Forge. The 308 and 408 versions of the cue did not have the cross-diamonds in the points. The butts are made by Joss Cues.

I shoot with one and I love it! I used to have the OB1 Shaft on a Hanshew custom cue and I thought they were a little too flexible then, I like a stiffer hit. Royce swears they aren't made any differently now but the full cue I shoot with is MUCH better! The full cues are manufactured by Joss so it's similar to the Joss/predator shaft I used to shoot with.

I wonder when OB cues will release a new/different line of cues? Who designed the first series of cues? Royce, any word?

Shayla,

Call me about your cue! We can change that for you.

The cues all have very easily adjustable weight systems.

OB cue

I have been using the OB-1 shaft on all of my cues and they have different feel depending on the butt/shaft combos I use.

For a while I used a old D-series McDermott from the 80's and the combo felt great.

Then I added a OB-1 to my Schon, different feel, stiffer but still the good feel of English and control.

I then jumped on a 308 from the first series of OB-cues and it feels more accurate than any of the combos I have used. It do however feel stiffer and a little harder than what I have been used to (using the OB-1 on all cues) but for some strange reason it feels more accurate. It might be that the old setup I have used (McD+OB-1) has become a little well "used" and changed it's character over time, but it's for sure a totally different feel to the OB Cue line. The new cues and shafts has also changed their stock tip from Talisman Pro Medium to Tiger Everest which also feels a little harder than the old Talisman setup.

I would recommend to try one and se if it's improve you're game and is you're type of "feel". The only thing I have to do to mine is to change the wrap since I have become to addicted to a decent leather wrap.
