how is the fit ob shaft for schon? or--is it better to get the ob's with schon logo?

It really depends on what you're looking for.
All the factory OB shafts with 5/16-14 joints, black color with a silver ring will fit the Schon very well. They are built too an .840" joint diameter, which is the same as the Schon. The pilot is smaller than the Schon, and is not an interference fit like the Schon.
The OB Shafts with the Schon logo are not finished shafts from OB. They are partials that Schon has installed their joint, so obviously they will fit just like a Schon shaft does. They won't however fit many of the other cues that use a 5/16-14 joint screw.
Some believe that the different joint fit will affect the hit. Some do not.
I can tell you that there are thousands of satisfied Schon cue owners out there with OB shafts on them. With either the factory OB shafts or the Schon jointed OB shafts.
