Observation of Left handed Players - Mechanical Bridge

I would argue that the greater percentage of left handed players use their right hand to cue when using the bridge/rest.

And I would definitely argue that there are more left handed players who switch hands when using the bridge/rest than right handed players who switch hands.

See below sample of players.

A few exceptions to this that I have seen are:

- Steve Mizerak
- Scott Frost
- Rodney Morris

Curious to hear some inputs from the forum. Has anyone else observed this?

Perhaps the better question is, how many players who play left handed are actually right handed...?
Left eye dominant.

I shoot pool left-handed, but I shoot with my right hand when I use the bridge because I'm right-handed (yes, so is Sigel).

Same here, right handed, play left, unless using a bridge.

I didn't know it was a common thing.

It was brought to my attention years ago, now I can't help but notice every time I see a left handed player shoot.

I'm trying to find video of Eckert or Salvas using the bridge/rest to supplement my case.

I wish YouTube had a 4x replay option.

Up arrow and right arrow advance 5 seconds per press but it gets boring after a while except for pigeons and slot machine players.

I'm getting forward or backward 5 sec. per press with just the right or left arrow.

Left eye dominant.

Roberto Gomez is left handed but plays right handed.

James Davis Sr is right handed but plays left handed.

There are a couple others I know but can't think of them right now.
