Any poolrooms, preferably with decent 9 footers, near Ocean City N.J.? Thanks.

Nope.
Cambridge, md...about an hour west via rt 50 is the only 9' tables around, unless you get invited over to a chicken farmer or boatmans house.

Great slates is the name of the place. 11 out of 10 star rating.

Yes there is a great pool hall in Egg harbor township. 10 gold crown IIs, 3 of them have 4 inch pockets located in the front of the room. A 12 ft snooker table and a heated 3c table. My old stomping grounds. It's called Atlantic City Billiard Club. Tell the owner Gary that Calvin sent ya.

Good clean environment.

come out 34th st. and go right to route 50 to tuckahoe, nj then take route 49 (left turn) to route 55. take vineland nj (landis avenue) exit and go towards vineland. About five blocks to Q Ball in Vineland. Total time from Ocean City is maybe 40-45 minutes and a great poolroom ran by Jose Garcia. He's an amazing player and runs a beautiful room. Much closer than Atlantic City Billiards which is closed on Sundays. A few of Jose's tables are triple shimmed, all perfect gold crowns. Ask anyone about his room, it's the best in the area.

Thanks for all of your replies. Don't mind driving a bit to find a good room. Can only spend so much time laying on the beach when a table beckons. LOL.
