Congrats to Eagle Eye Jayson Shaw he played amazing in the Finals and closed it out with a four pack in a thrilling comeback victory 12-11 over Dennis Orcollo.
Dennis played almost a flawless final but a dry break on the hill was all the air Jayson needed.
Great finish from Sky Woodward and Shane VanBoening too.
Huge shout out to everybody at Colonial Cues in ,Elizabeth City, North Carolina for all the hard work they did putting this event together.

Thanks to the folks who labored to make this event happen and congratulations to the folks at colonial for another great event.
Maybe the most stacked field I have ever seen. Definitely the most top player % in a single field.

All the folks at Colonial Cues did a incredible job getting this World Class field to come to their tiny four table pool room in the unlikely place of Elizabeth City, North Carolina.
They pulled out all the stops for the players, had a true $7.000 in added money and absolutely no extra fees of any kind with a 100% payback.
The way Dennis and Jayson played in the finals i wouldn't be surprised to see both those guys go deep next week in the US Open.Amazing play from both players.

Haha. It is a completely different game than the rest of us are playing, I am pretty sure.
Everyone here at Colonial Cues in Elizabeth City Nc would like to thank all the players and spectators that came into our town to support this event. We are just a small 4 table family owned poolroom. We love the game and everything about it, and we just wanted to give back to our community. It's so great having all these superstars coming here each year to Wimpys hometown. We are so thankful to each and everyone of you for making this event possible and taking time to put us on your schedules. We also want to thank Mike Burton with Joss Cues, Ray Hansen,Tommy Kennedy, Ernesto Dominguez and Terry Hanna. This was our best event ever, and we owe it all to the players who put their faith in us and came to out to support us, thank you all from the bottom of our hearts, we love each and everyone of you.

Dennis put on at least a 3 pack after Jayson was up 6-3. Dennis was at 11-7 when Jayson took control and won it.
I think almost every match Jayson started out 0-2.
Another thing I really enjoyed was the fact they got LoreeJon, Danny B., Jani and Petri (the Finnish players). Players that I have never seen before.

Thanks for the nice post. It was a lot of hard work no question, but we do it because we love the game,and meeting all the players. With this being Wimpys hometown it makes it even more special. We had some really good sponsors in our corner such as Jim Todd, Mike Burton with Joss Cues, City of Elizabeth City, Glover Law Firm, etc. It will be hard to duplicate this year's event again, but we will try. We appreciate each everyone of the players who chose to come to our event rather than going to some of the other more high paying events. That means everything to us, and we will continue to do more in the coming years to make this a can't miss stop on the way to the US OPEN.
