Hi I was just wondering...is there any way to make a cue with a linen wrap, wrappless, say with an ebony handle? I don't know if this is possible but I'm really curious. I have a Richard Harris BEM cue with a black linen wrap and I kinda want it wrappless? Is this possible/remotely good idea, could it damage the cue? please let me know.
Thanks,

Yes, the handle would have to be cut off & an ebony handle put on. Since it isn't a "collectable" cue I see nothing wrong with this. If you ever sell the cue you are obligated to inform the buyer you had this work done.

And it would probably be best to have the work done by Richard Harris, himself.

You could also have finish applied over the wrap - ala Meucci - for a wrapped look with a wrapless feel. Less expensive than having the handle replaced.

Adios,
