Well as you all know I was captain of a bar league last season, and we wound up winning the championship after a season of much drama! LOL
Well this season the veteran of the team took over, and the other vet is his co-captain. I had to give up the captain spot as I am not going to be there some nights due to work. We kept the whole team together to try and repeat.
Well we started this season off with a bang! There are a total of 27 points any given night. 1 point for each single match and 2 points for each doubles match.
There are a bunch of new teams this season! Last season we had 20 teams, now we have 30 teams. The teams that are in our division are all new teams from new bars.
We played a new bar, and at the end of the night we won 26 - 1! I guess my team is still flying high from the championship because we were playing really well. The other team wasn't bad, we were just playing that good. I was really impressed with everyone's games.
The captain came up to us and said she knew we were the champions and it would be a tough night, but they didn't realize we were that good! LOL It was a great compliment for us. Too bad she didn't see us last season, cause they could have given us a run for our money most weeks of last season. We didn't turn it on until the playoffs last time.
I guess I was still flying high from the championship, because I only had one bad shot the whole night, and I won all 5 of my games. It is so much easier to have fun when your not the captain! LOL I can just focus on my game and play, which is exactly what I did. (I have been playing really good the last month or so, and I don't know if I have hit another level or I am just really amped to play. I really don't care what it is, because I am shooting some of the best pool I have every played.)

Everyone wish us luck in another championship run, we are off to a great start. Hopefully we can keep it up all the way through the playoffs!
