We're in 2015, streaming a big event like the mosconi cup, it should work on all device!

Paid for the stream and can't watch it from the ipad :(

Do you have cable? If so you might be able to watch it on ESPN 3 on the iPad.

Weird, it's like an iPad isn't actually a computer after all.

If your device doesn't use HTML5, then it is the device's fault, not the provider's.

True, but wouldn't you think if the provider wanted max purchases they would provide a stream that is compatible with the most popular tablet in the world?

Aloha

Download the ESPN3 app, put in you cable service provider and watch all you want, I brought it up on the Roku also, so I could watch it on the big screen. If you need help with it shoot me a PM.

Aloha

The iPhone/iPad is the whole reason HTML5 is so well supported. If the stream does not work on the iPad, it is probably because its a Flash based stream, which is crap.

did he say "paid" for the stream?
Sounds like some third party streaming the match and charging for it, at that point who knows what you'll need to play it depending on who doing it and where they are. It does play on the iPad via espn3, soooooo

Humm when i sign in and browse to the stream, the player does not show up. I even contacted them and they told me it wasnt supported. How do you play it through your apple tv?

Anyways, i watched it, my point was that in 2015, ipad should be supported! :)

I've been watching it on ESPN 3 via the Watch ESPN app on the Apple TV. If you're in Canada there may be some dumb international restrictions.

say thank you to me

Go to Apple Store, type: PUFFIN in the search box and download the free version.

Open the link and enjoy it.

He said he paid for the official stream. That means he is not using ESPN. Does the stream work on your computer? It might be flash based.

yeah, it works on my computer, I too assume it is flash based, which is the whole point of this thread!

Will try to download ESPN on my apple TV this afternoon!

Thanks!

It looks like you have to watch it from a PC/Mac. The specs are below:

I agree with everything that's been said though. I cut the cable last year and don't have ESPN. I rely heavily on AppleTV but for back-up, I have a PC also hooked-up to my television.

That said, if you're just looking to watch the matches and don't care about seeing them live, they're uploading them to Youtube (first day is already posted). You just need to search for genipool14.

Html5 works fine on the iPad since apple was the first to say flash is a piece of garbage and we're no longer supporting it and put there power behind html 5.

Streaming without Adobe Flash Player

I was also having a bit of trouble while trying to stream it through pool.livesport.tv

My Droid Turbo 2 doesn't support Adobe Flash Player. Somebody here suggested that I download an app called: Photon Browser through the app store. When I got ready to click on the link that starts the Live feed... I just activated the Flash player by clicking on the Lightning Bolt in the toolbar. Works great

Hope that helps anyone with android device if you are having the same problems as me.
