Don't forget Classic Billiards in Phoenixville. 10 minutes away from the expo if you want play on excellent 9 foot Gold Crowns. 610-935-1118. Great room.

With an event this size and popularity, any hotel specials are expected to sell out. The first time SBE was moved to Oaks, the folks at Jimbos army were already discussing in August about booking at choice hotels to ensure their annual party. Oaks is still close enough to King of Prussia, with its vast array of hotel choices to fall back on. Glad to hear that you're booked for SBE.

All the special rate rooms are gone already, when I tried to book a few weeks ago they would only offer me their regular prices. Booked 15 minutes away at almost $100 a night less.

Been asking him on Twitter. Now Earl says he IS playing at the Expo this year!
Awesome!!

Hey guys If anyone needs a roommate I could use a place to stay...all the people that were coming with me have backed out for various reasons. I plan on being there weds afternoon for warm up..playing in amateur and seniors..so a least till Sat morning.
Never played on a diamond bar box...should be interesting.

Last weekend of practice is approaching. I'm heading down to spend some quality time with the Diamond tonight.

Hope I can go up a couple balls going from my 9' to the 7' bar boxes at SBE!! (comment pertaining to the recent LENGTHY debate threads! lol)

From the SBE FB page for those who were wondering if the fields would fill up...........................For the first time ever (that I can recall anyhow) - the Seniors Division is sold out at max capacity with 384 players! And if you missed the news earlier, the Women's division is full (and capped) with 160 players ....

Still working on updates, but I can tell you the Open division is already well above 850 players and is approaching 900 ... and registration is still open 4 more days! We have to cap the event at 960 this year - which would be almost 150 more than last year....

It's gonna be a fun and exciting Expo, hope to see you all there!

Not sure why the cap at 960 when they advertised 1024 for the Open Am.?
Maybe space / tables...?

Looks like almost 50 so far for the Pro 10-Ball!!

Not many 7 ft diamonds around central Jersey. One at Sandcastle. I heard two at Elite just down the road. Most bars have bar boxes.

I've notice that banks Diamonds always comes up shorter than Brunswick Gold Crowns. I mentioned it to a friend, wonder how do the Pros cope. He pointed out the Pros are so good on position, so they rarely end up in a situation where they have to bank. :-)

If you normally play on a 9 ft table do you switch to 7 ft to compete at the expo?

If these are brand new Diamonds, than they will not be fun. Super fast, bank short and stingy pockets. What more can one ask for.
