Not sure about the 2 AR elite, haven't been there in 7 years because the owner is a dick. Can confirm Ed has one at sandcastle as I was there a few times the past couple weeks visiting old friends.
 
Anybody know if the brackets will be posted online again this year at midnight before the day the event begins?
 
Here is the weather forecast for this coming weekend. It just gets better and better.

FWIW,
Open Amateur is now sold out at 960 cap. Apparently all the other amateur divisions are also sold out as well. I wonder if SBE will start drawing brackets.

Still working on updates, but I can tell you the Open division is already well above 850 players and is approaching 900 ... and registration is still open 4 more days! We have to cap the event at 960 this year - which would be almost 150 more than last year....

It's gonna be a fun and exciting Expo, hope to see you all there!

Not sure why the cap at 960 when they advertised 1024 for the Open Am.?
Maybe space / tables...?

Looks like almost 50 so far for the Pro 10-Ball!!

Does anyone know why the am open is capped at 960 instead of 1024? 960 gives 84 people a bye. Same thing with the other brackets.
The only thing I can think of is the reduced number of matches help with the time it takes to play all the matches. ???
 
Where are all the top women players? Small draw. No big names. Who is the favorite on the list?

Sleeping in some Sat. (wuss) and heading back Sun to watch mostly Pro 10 ball.
Guess I'll be sporting my red Phillies...even though they suck... hat!! Smokin' Cue shirt I scored in NC.
And AZ sticker. Please PM if interested in cheap $5 - $20 midnight sets.
I'm probably a 5% shot at a break and run, and 50-50 with 5 or 6 balls on the table.
Hoping to play better on the BB..... 9 ft'er here at home.

It was sold out yesterday. Didn't know it was capped at a different # :(
 
Warm ups tomorrow , I hope I'm not the only noob playing. They still didn't post where the player meeting is.

Good luck!! I was in your shoes once.
Now it's been so long I will feel the same when I finally get in tournament again next yr.
 
Looking forward to my 5 day pool vacation! I'm hoping we can warm up a little before the warmup tournament tomorrow. I'll show up around 4 and see if they have the tables set up. I don't play on bar tables, so need all the practice I can get!
