Thanks

I wish you luck in Utah.
Kind of a pool desert in that region. Bowling alleys and bars usually have a few tables but its not a popular game for that area, for as large of a population that lives there.

Big Willie's in SLC is the closest I have been to there. They have several BB (4-6) diamonds and one larger than 9' table. Potentially rentable by the hour or set price for the day/evening I think but they can be all taken or in use. It's a bar with food and games. I think there is a sister bar nearby with fewer tables to pay by the game. I think I recall seeing a strip joint or two advertising pool when I was there looking online also.

I’m sure I’ll need it

Just called Big Willie’s, They have an 8’ table and a snooker table

Is the snooker table a diamond as well?

I think i only went on weekend evenings a couple l times and got lucky as one guy who rented a table for the evening but was playing someone else on their table. So he gave me his at no cost. I ended up being asked to play with some other out of luck individuals who i obliged. Busy at those hours. I'd imagine day time and weekdays would be the time to go if you for sure want a table.

Here was the setup when I visited:

7 Diamonds and a Snooker table. All the Diamonds were the same size. Here's a side view:

Are those 8' tables? I thought they were coin op bar boxes. You can also pay by the hour.

Also, if you are visiting Ogden, you should find your way to 25th St which is the historic downtown. It is a nice downtown with good restaurants and bars, as well as a great museum in the Union Station (trains, John Browning, old cars, and a small western museum). The KoKoMo Club has 2 bar tables with regular regulars playing. The Outlaw Saloon is a couple miles from 25th St and has better tables.

Looks like it won’t be snowing. I’ll check out downtown and Outlaw. Thanks
