Thanks to Nineball Champ for the kind words! It was a pleasure, and I'm sure we'll do some business in the future.
I think you gave the right advice, Clint. There are jerks and jokers, but there are still really good people in the world. Ya do what you can to find out as much info. as you can, then you make the best decisions based on that knowledge. When I was first dealing with you, we talked on the phone after a few e-mails, and then decided to ship a cue for your inspection. Everything just seemed to be above board. I talked to this "Mastercueartist" guy, and let me tell you he might as well have had "FLAKE" tattooed on his forehead. He was going to sell me all the new Fellini cases I wanted for $175 each. The next conversation was to let me know that now there were only two available, then it got down to one, and then Big Bob just rode off into the sunset... Fortunately, I hadn't sent him any money, but I had already called a friend in PA to go over and see what this guy had for sale. His opinion was exactly the same as mine...LOSER. If he's not the cue museum guy, he should seek him out because they have to be related.
I have got ripped off with legit sounding folks, too, but don't let one bad experience turn you off on cue trading... It's just too damned much fun!
Regards,
Steve
