Ohio State VNEA Tournament

im coming from dayton...cabs are outrageous id say just find a designated driver or find a hotel with in walking distance of some kind of bar...
 
I will be there playing in a team event. I quit league pool for 5 years. The last time I played a league tourny was Vegas 2005 and we got 13th out of 641 teams.

I can bring some cues with me if anybody wants to buy or trade?:thumbup:

Got off the phone with my new buddy Ron a little while ago and I mentioned the tournament and apparently he's going down there to play. He said something about smaller tournaments that may take place in the evenings.

Either way I'll stop by and check it out. When I was at derby I met a guy called Chris who runs fiddlestix and I've been meaning to check his place out since then and this gives me an excuse to drive out to canton. So I'll see y'all there maybe (pic looks like its a pretty big event).

hey bud, you in elyria? I am on the east side of Akron near Kent state. I would think you would be driving, unless plans are your driving just not between locations around canton. LOL
Well rentals are cheap dude,,, go with Enterprise or thrifty.. I don't play in the any of the leagues, I have just gone to watch in past years with my wife, my kids have a birthday party to go to, so no visiting this year. But I will try very hard. Especially come down and shoot at fiddlestix, nice place. GL!
 
ya im in Elyria...im driving down but thinking when im down there ill be drinking and dont need a dui! but i have talked the ol lady into coming with me so now i have a DD! I seen fiddlestix website...looks really NICE! im sure i will be doing some practice there when im not at the convention center. Id like to meet as many fellow AZBers as i can. i will be coming in around 7am... can u belive i talked to hotel into letting me check in at that time?? me either but i guess im sometimes a sweet talker lol. hope you can make it Flash i hear its a blast!

Yah bud definitely a great time!, Fiddlestix will be packed because it is the place to go during the tournament. There a couple of pool halls from there no more than 15 mins. I can give you directions-
 
ya one of my teamates said something about going to fox and hound....idk i seen fiddlestix website and might venture that way when i have some free time. dose fiddlestix offer some minis? or anyone else?
 
Fiddlestix is still the place...close to the hotel and all.

If its packed by all means go to another place but Fiddlestix would be my first choice every time.
