Are you still planning on, or have you started writing the autobiography you were talking about? The pool scene could really use another good book and perhaps it could be used to make a pretty cool movie as well (unlike the crap that was PHJ)

Plus I bought your video of ya beating Parica in the US Open. You played awesome, only other time I saw ya play was against Edwin Montal in Vegas on the box and that was a different Keith. It seems that Incardona thinks you played your best pool in the late 80's and yet in your interview I think you mentioned you played your best in the 70's. Which time period would you say you were the most feared player in the world for the cash and is there any extensive video footage of ya shooting back then in some big match while in your prime?

Celtic, as far as the book goes, it's coming along very nice. I'm still gathering a lot of my thoughts, and I'm looking forward to finishing it.

I'm glad you enjoyed the video of me and Jose at the Open. It was real exciting for me to be in that spot, and hopefully I'll make it back there again next time.

I'd say Billy Incardona was probably right, late '70s and early '80s was when I was playing my best. Billy knows me pretty well, and we go a long ways back. Then, I was on the road more, and they didn't have that many tapes of me. However, I did happen to see a railbird video of me playing Ronnie Allen on eBay for sale. I bought one, just out of curiosity, and you can see me and Ronnie playing all right, but could only hear the hotel music. Back then, I was always playing more before and after the tournaments than I was playing in them.

As far as being the "most feared player in the world for the cash," I was shooting pretty good in '82 and '83. Everybody that came to the West Coast got shipped out. Things were a lot different in the '70s and the '80s than they are now when it comes to playing for the money. There were more bodies gambling back then. Seems like these days, everybody is afraid to get up, but not me. It's awful hard to make a dollar in this pool world today, but I'm doing the best I can with what's out there.

I play all games. My favorite game is anything I can win at, but I prefer to play 9-ball, banks, 10-Ball, and one-pocket.

King Cueball, try to hit the cue-ball a little bit higher and follow through a bit more with your stroke, and practice using all the different englishes, your left-hand english, top-follow english, and right-hand english. You should be able to develop a little bit better knack with your cue-ball, and with practice, you will have better results, hopefully. Also, try this shot at shorter distances until you are satisfied with the results.
