I'll start.Mine was 43(almost beat it the other night and then puked...grrrr)

There is a great thread over in the straight pool forum that addresses your very question... albeit for the current year (but I think there are threads for 2007 and 2006).

My high run is 14 (on my home table). I missed the break ball :) Since my high run I have been able to consitently run 6-8 balls (just like 9 ball :D). I played BigCat in a race to 100 one day (at Kolby's) and I made it to 35. I will be playing him again on Thursday and I am hoping to reach 50 total.

I have no doubt BVal's straight pool game will only improve in the next few months. His shotmaking ability will be an asset to his improvement in this discipline and in no time he should be running double or triple what is normal for him.

I rarely play straight pool, but I did about a month ago, practicing by myself. So I was pretty psyched when I ran in the high 30's! (That was playing against myself, as opposed to starting with a break shot.)

47 and not too proud of that. Even though I don't play the game of 14.1 much, it is a great deal of fun, just very few that play the game around here.
I mainly play banks and 8ball.. Banks is by far my favorite game.

usually i average about 10 balls per inning but my high run is 56. used to be 27 but i was hitting the break shot good and playing well one day and managed to move it up.

I've ran 53 twice in the past couple months. I'm only 21 and most of the people I play haven't heard of straight pool. I never get to play 14.1 but would like to. The second one was much nicer if that means anything.

Gods honest truth, probably 8. I have never once made it from the key ball to the break ball and opened the rack. I have ran 8 and out playing 1 pocket lots of times. I have only played straight pool 3-4 times in my life, I miss everything playing that game-i have this head trip and start steering the balls etc and miss shape and the OB, with out a doubt given my ability as a player am the worst 14.1 player ever. Its amazing how bad I am, on the rare occasion I run 4 packs playing 9 ball on easy tables, not Ernesto tables I have ran a 2 pack on his tables once. But 14.1 I couldnt run 30 balls with 7" pockets, If I could play the game I'd say I would be in the 60's. My high break in snooker on a 12' table is 53 or 56 i cant remember. When i'm able to i'm gonna hook up with Dave-blackjack and get trained up to play 14.1 and then i'm gonna teach him how to play 21
