Chopdoc AzB Silver Member Silver Member Jun 26, 2016 #3 Now that we see the joint we can tell more. It is a brass to brass joint. The insert is pulled out of the shaft, hence it needs repair. With that joint imho it is a Taiwan import. Though somebody else may know better.
