im workin at a job (contractor) and after BSin, pool came up n the guy told me he had a table that hasnt been touched in 25 yrs...hes a older guy in his late 60s early 70s...took me in his basement and he has a table w/ leather drop pocket 8x 4. name on the table was something wright from pittsburgh,pa.its a old table he said he got from a pool hall 35-40 years ago...i was checkin it out and he said he wanted 1000 $ for it... i looked on the side and saw this box of chalk, alotta it..30+ pcs i grabbed a few he said i could have... there was a box or 2 of the old 12 cube NTC from 70s and he said these 2 cubes were not touched in 30 years

willie mosconi professional quality, yellow wrapper 11 ball with w m on it..stamped taiwan on it..

other peice was wolfs special no 1..buffalo NY made in usa

alotta NTC and i saw 1 or 2 other brands....all 30-40 years old and almnost all unused

heres a pic...

i can prolly get them if anyones interested??? are they worth like the majic and BD chalk? and premasters...im sure they have the mercury or lead or whatever everyones after on the 10 year old masters...

I really don't know what the old chalk is worth.I've got some of the old
NTC chalk.I would like to find out also if these could be worth anything.

Chalk from the 1970s is not so interesting, but some from the '20s or so can run to $300 for one cube. Right now on Ebay, there is a piece of round National chalk offered at about $40 (but that's a little high).

I've seen the round Manhattan chalk go for about $50-$100 per single piece on Ebay. One piece in its own small box went for $300. I see that brand in the BBCCo catalog for 1916, but with a different style:

By 1942 or so, the only brands offered by Brunswick were Clik and Willie Hoppe. If I had to guess, I'd say your chalks were from 1930 or so.
