old cues

I don't know much about these old cues but have a question. are old brunswick house cues worth money? I read post's about them but don't really understand it. My dad works for a guy that runs the tables in all the bars around his town. He started his first pool has when he was 20 and he's 96 now. He still has every house cue he ever bought sitting in a very large room waiting for repair. I have never seen so many cues in my life, literally thousands of them. The guy told me that the ones in that far back are probably from when he first started 70 some years ago. My dad is in negotiations to buy his whole business from him. What should i look for, if anything from these old cues, or are they pretty much junk?

this guy never threw anything away, there is some crazy vintage stuff in his storage. I'm going up there around thanksgiving to help my dad look through some of this. I know of the sticks from seeing them last time i was there, and there is about 4 sheds of old pinball machines too.
