Doing some cueing ?
Silver Member
My friend Jack Michaely passed away nearly 10 years ago (May 12, 2000). He was a great guy, a VERY knowledgeable AND effective pool player and a pretty sporty cue maker.
Most of his cues were simple. He made cues meant to be played with. Hit came first above all else from Jack's point of view.
There are a few of you out there that have one of Jack's cues (phinmole, maybe?), some who don't know because they aren't marked intuitively (might see a "Q1" or "Q2" engraved on a sneaky pete) or maybe even refinished and the marking is gone and lost to the sands of time.

Anyhow, I've had a few folks ask me what I play with, here's my Michaely cue:

I like the design, and the yellow and green veneers.

Great cue - thanks for sharing.

Michael,

Thanks for saying so. The veneers are actually light blue, but do look a little green next to the yellow veneers.
