Old Family Brunswick pool table restoring

Noticing the OP's location....reminded me of a scene at a tournament in Louisville....
...years ago...but it wasn't the old DCC...

I was talking with two guys...so I asked them "Being a Canuck, I'm curious...
...do you pronounce the capital of Kentucky LOOIEville or LOOISville?
...they argued about it...one liked the first way...one was adamant on the second way...
....I told them "You're both wrong, you pronounce it FRANKFORT."

They laughed their heads off...one of them said "I'm from Kentucky, and I fell for it"

LOL I almost fell for it as well and I was born and raised in Kentucky. The best way to describe the sound of "Louisville" stated by natives is "Lullvull"... at least that's what it sounded like to me living in the center of the state. Heck I even butchered the capitol too.
