I ran into a guy today that has an old Guffy sneaky, and he was wondering what it was worth. I dont have any pics, but it is in great shape, and according to him, its 15 years old. nothing fancy, just a plain sneaky. He is not selling it, just curious what its worth.

Guffy pete

John Guffy resides in Okla. City and used to play on the road years ago. Really a 1 pocket player but could play anything. Made some really nice sticks years ago, but believe he is totally retired from cuemaking now. Sells furniture at Mathis Bros. Nice enough fellow but anal and eccentric so of course he became a cue builder. His old sp,s (1970-1980?) sold new for $85 then $100 then $125. You could buy used ones for $50 all day long and they were very decent players. True sneaky pete with no visible joint. My wife loved it because she could draw really well with it. I still have mine I bought for $45. You might get $100 down here south because people knew him. Great back up stick.

I have a Guffy sneaky also, and have wondered the value. Too me it is priceless.. I paid $100 for it around 1993 when i picked it up from John at his house in Edmond. I still run into players here in and around Okla City that play with Guffy sneakys that love them. I retired mine in 2003 because of wear and sentimental value.
