Old Guy KO At The Pool Hall

I'm only 31 but I was raised the old fashioned way. Some of the very first lessons my dad taught me was "Don't let your mouth write checks your ass can't cash", "Don't start something you can't finish", "you roll the dice, you pay the price", and "respect your elders." Looks to me like the guy that got knocked out needed to learn these lessons the hard way. To many punks think they can do whatever they want and say whatever they want to whoever they want without being accountable for their actions. I don't get where this sense of entitlement comes from. I don't condone violence, my reaction to seeing this man get knocked out was disgust. But if you keep getting in someone's face and talking shit to them, it better be for a damn good reason and you better be prepared for this because this is and always has been the world we live in.

My normal reaction to guys throwing punches is let em fight its no big deal but...

What I see on that tape is the guy should have expected the first punch. This doesn't mean he deserved it,talking arguing or even yelling does not indicate that you are looking to duke it out (above the age of 8).If he is pursuing the guy or pushing or poking at him then yeah push him away or pop him 1 time.

The second punch was a sucker punch, the guy was realing from the first punch and was not trying to fight.

The guy egging it on might as well thrown the punches himself. He could prob be charged with assault along with the puncher.

Looks like there may have been alcohol involved LOL.

Well at first glance it looks like a sucker punch, however upon a second look it appears that the man in black is extending his hand and the guy in green is starting to square up like he was going to hit the guy in black an that is when he got hit the first time.

The guy in black appears to be trying to do everything he can to walk away but the old fella seems to continue to get in his face. Considering all of that he got what was coming to him....

This is a case of an absentee operator who does not have control of his public establishment. I hope the punchee sues them all including the smack talking railers.

Yep I agree, the stalker/idiot should have been banned from the club sooner. The gentleman puncher, you know the guy who walked away, should get free table time for any inconvenience.

Nail hit squarely on head.

The second punch was necessary to put the aggressor down. This is what you do whenever you are threatened or attacked. If the aggressor gets up again, you put him down again. Lucky for the aggressor he was escorted out by the establishment when he got up, or he would have been justifiably punched again.
