Old Hoppe Style Pool Cue

I have owned this cue for some time and was wondering what it's value might be. It is short, only 54 inches but has a large cork wrap and is heavy and solid. Feedback is appreciated.

From the length and taper it looks more like a billiard cue, not a pool cue.

Like something Harry Sims or Harold Baker would have made.
