Old Huebler, embarassing wrap job...

Here's an older Huebler... also came with an old Huebler hard case. The shafts are really nice. Very nice feel.

The wrap, well... Let's just say it needs a new wrap. The leather was a nice piece but too thick. Any ideas? back to linen might be better.

Yeah you need to get rid of that leather, it needs to be taken down for that leather to fit flush.

Leather

Looks like someone put a really thick chunk of leather on but most leather now is the same thickness as linen so you probably just need to have it redone.

On the bright side at least who ever did it didn't cut the wrap groove to match that thick piece of leather, that would have made going to linen or leather a tough job.

Wouldn't surprise me if the original linen is under the leather!
