OLD JOSS wanted

You guys are giving me a lot of options. Thanks. Truth is... I have a VERY elaborate Joss that I want to be able to interchange shafts with if I go into kind of an "unsavory Pool environment." I don't want to screw up the one I have by some drunk idiot knocking it over. Even if the drunk idiot is me. Thanks again. The Craw.

Wouldn't it be easier to take a case that would hold your expensive cue and a less expensive cue...that's what I do. I use my expensive cue for straight pool and non-drinking sessions and a less expensive cue for the bars and drinking binge shooting?

Some of the places I go, I have to play at decent speed to get the cash. By interchanging the shaft from the cue that I play with almost always at the poolroom to the other (less expensive Joss), it will almost feel the same. I had a Pete Ohman setup like that for quite a while, and it worked great. I had an ebony, ivory, with a lot of inlays. Then, I could use the same shaft and put it on the plain jane (less paranoid of nicks, less conspicuous, etc) and not miss a beat. Maybe it's mental, I don't know. But, by using the same shaft, and a similar weighted cue with the same joint, it makes the transition nice and smooth. Thanks.

No more guys? Don't make me narrow it down from these six that were sent to me. Come on. Get'em outta the closet.
