Old News, BUT, This Girl Can Play

Thanks Marissa. I did hear you say that when I walked away and was truly flattered. I am talking right now to a potential sponsor for 20k for next year on the tour. There is a tremendous amount of pressure on me right now to win the next two Arizona events. If I win those, I win the tour, and would have every spot invited for 2006. The 20k means nothing without the invites. We'll see how it goes.
haha I was truly embarrassed for the rest of the weekend. I was worried that I had offended you.

Don't let the pressure get to you as you've already proven you have what it takes. It's just coasting from here :)

Speaking of which. How is the WPBA doing now that many of their top players are in the IPT? Is the WPBA allowing them to crossover and play both? I just wondered what the state of the WPBA is with the announcement of all those women selected for the IPT.

I am sure they will try to tailor their tournament schedule around it for 2006. I know they realize that what the IPT says they are trying to do with the sport is a good thing. I dont think they would be in conflict with that at least the first year.

Now now DM... The board just wasn't the same when Mike put you in the Timeout Room for a week, I'd hate to see your name removed permanently.

Take a deep breath... In with the good air, out with the bad...

You little idiot...your reply to him had absolutely NOTHING to do with what HE wrote. You were back on the bandwagon and pulpit of your own agenda from the BD letter. Scott didn't know or care about your whining bullshit.

Yeh you retracted it...mainly because you were getting blasted from every direction by a lot of knowledgeable posters and you were looking like the true ass that you are.

I don't take meds...but you sure need to. I don't think they even have stuff strong enough or developed yet for your mental problems.

I just got my October issue of Inside Pool and our girl Tina scored a DOUBLE!!

She has ANOTHER write-up in the Regional Players of the Month section!
Good article also! I have still never been shafted on one of my Inside Pool subscrition deliveries...I hope you receive yours too.

BEAUTIFUL hair Tina...forget pool and become the Breck shampoo girl in magazines and TV! (I ain't bullshittin' either)

Thanks Drivermaker. I pay the lady a lot that cuts my hair. She is well taken care of! :D I was really looking forward to that article being printed but they actually misquoted me about 6 times. I never said I was getting ready for IPT, Jeff Beckley was the name, not Jeff Buckley, I never said I play for practice, not pleasure - I could go on. Oh well. I was still very happy they chose me for their issue. The guy that they had interview me was new and a musician. That probably explains why he had written Jeff Buckley (who is a musician) instead of Jeff Beckley (pool player that now lives in Indiana).

Eric,

That's because you live in North NJ. Down here in South NJ there are tons of farms and the air is fresh.

They named NJ the Garden State because of South NJ. :p

Barbara~~~thinks the South should recede from the North...

LOL, at the Open I was talking with Fred & I pointed Tina out from across the room. My exact words were "she's a really sweet girl, and she's got GREAT hair, B1&ch! :D

Tina Pawloski!!

I just got my October issue of Billiards Digest in the mail and although this is "old news" it's still good news. Here's how the article reads:

Stars Tina Pawloski and Susan Williams battled once again at the Arizona Women's Billiards Tour Aug. 13-14 stop in Tempe.

After losing, 5-3, in the hot-seat to Williams, an undaunted Pawloski beat Marney Teague with ease, 5-1, for a finals rematch. The first set see-sawed until Pawloski fired up and won the next three games to win 5-2. In the next, Pawloski capitalized on her foe's scratch to run five balls and make a hard, long bank shot on the 8 ball for a 5-3 win and $250. (end)

She's been on a tear recently and has it all. She can play...she has heart to play for the cash...she's well-spoken...she has charm...and she's hot-hot-hot!

She's also an AZ regular...First one to list her screen name wins a new Maserati paid for by Colin Colenso and Craig and donated from the goodness of their heart. ;) :D

I attended the US Open this year with one of my good friends and we spend the week in Chesapeake taking in as many of the tournament matches as we can. We go every year and we always take our cues and spend some time practicing at Q-masters billiards during the week we're at the US Open. We were at the pool room late one night playing some nine ball in the tournament room and a young lady walked in with her cue and started practicing by herself on the table next to our table. I didn’t think too much of it at first and I kept seeing her out of the corner of my eye with this unusual stroke for a woman. She had a round and round wind up (3 strokes usually) slightly like the Phillipinos, but more extreme in her motion. I thought to myself that she can’t play very well with that stroke, but was I surprised after I started watching her for a few minutes. She was firing balls in from everywhere! I stopped playing and started watching her and believe me she can play. Her name is Tina Pawloski and I haven’t been that impressed with a female player before. She had it all good looks, good personality, and she can definitely play 9 ball!! Good luck in the future Tina.
