old photo under finish

its done

i got it on the 23 try. i don't know if i an stupid or just hard headed.

i used the 20 waterslides and never got one to stick enough to hold a clear coat. i tried about 15 different ways and just could not get it to work.

i took the orignal photo to walmart and had 4 more copies made.

the 3rd one worked great. i cut a groove like i was going to do a wrap. i then cut the photo to size. i then used super glue to glue the center of the photo, just a thin strip down the middle of the photo. i then applied tight bond to the photo and the cue, i let it get sticky then wrapped it onto the cue. i used the back [ non sticky ] side of the blue painters tape, wrapped it let it dry overnight.

i then used 20 minute finish epoxy, first layer thick, i put it on my drying set-up and spun it slow for about an hour. i did this about 10 times using thinner layers of finish, sanding it almost off each time.

i have more time in this simple cue, than any other cue i have ever made.
