First, let me say I enjoy this forum and have lurked for awhile now and just finally registered.
I just picked up this old Schon a few months ago. The finish was horrible when I first seen it but could see the poitential in it. I sent it to JAckson Custom Cues and they painstakenly refinished every inch of this cue. @ coats of 2 part Epoxy finish, new Extra hard Le Pro tip and a Textured Black Leather Wrap.
Cue is breathtaking for a simple 4 point. The inlays are razor sharp and within 1/16" or less of one another.
I am trying to guesstimate the approximate age of the cue right now. Best I have heard is Cisa 1981-1982.
