Newsheriff Custom Cues

Here's another classic style player I completed recently. The cue features highly figured maple forearm gaboon ebony with mop diamonds copper dots and a copper railroad track Bushka ring.

The cue has a cleared over white with green spec linen wrap so you can see the wrap but not feel it. White delrin buttcap and a brown bumper for that old school feel. It also comes with a roasted maple (torrified, keilwood etc..) shaft. Cue has a really good feel and balance! Straight together and apart.

My opinion (cause a few have asked about the hit) This cue has a very solid, more on the hard side hit. Some like the ping (ringing hit) this cue is more on the quit side not a lot of ping to it. I find it very easy to move the cue ball as much or as little as wanted. Medium/Stiff hit on the quieter side.

Please PM or email me with any questions.

Butt sleeve looks like the old block letter Joss Diamond series. Very nice work sir.

That’s really cool! I really like your work sir. Continue on please.

Buddy I’m not just saying it to make you feel good... I just wish I knew more about the hit of your cues because I LOVE the ones you call” old school “ and I believe you give people a TON of work for the money... it’s unbelievable how HARD it is to break into the upper echelon of cuemakers who pull down 750-1000 for merry widows( i own several) but that’s the nature of this business unfortunately... I hope this isn’t out of line but I wonder if you just gave people your name? Instead of new sheriff it would help? I would like to personally know who you are and I really really like the work you’re putting out buddy.. dead serious, please let US know or pm if you would. ( who you are?) and do you work on custom orders/designs or just build what YOU like and offer it for sale( like Larry Vigus does)

Me as well. I know hit is subjective and hard to define, but there are several of the Old School cues posted recently that look awesome. I'm curious to how they're built to hit. Soft, stiff, etc. I like "pingers" myself lol

+ one on liking "pingers"

TASC cues with "HOPPE" butt configuration, as a rule, are pingers

on topic: The "NEW SHERRIFF" has it going on

i'm also interested in how he describes his cues playability

Me too buddy..pinger is a great word for the “ hit” I like... flat faced, big pins usually gets close to the “ ping” in looking for lol
