Found this on the way to work today.
28.5" butt
29" shafts
5/16x18
Rings are 12 natural, 12 black.

I'm thinking old JossWest from the rings. Diamond inlays are very well executed. Fat butt.
I haven't had a chance to take the bumper off yet.

Over 300 views and only one suggestion? I was thinking early joss too, but the check rings are different proportions than all the joss cues I can find. I took it out for a spin after work and was quite surprised how well it played even with the ancient tips. What surprised me even more was the weight when I checked it this morning. 16.9oz butt and matching 3.3oz shafts. I thought it was closer to 18.5oz. It doesn't feel heavy at all.

My first impression is that's it's an old school pre-split Joss. I think I might have seen an
old John Guffey with ringwork similar to yours. Just a guess though.
 
Richie Florence RF-6?

I don't know what kind of pin he used or anything but it sure looks right.

Sure looks like the RF-6. He did use 5/16x18 pins and the one in the link has the exact same rings. Thanks for the links.

Joss did use a 5/16x18 thread. Kenny Dodd's Joss made in 1969 has a 5/16x18 thread as I recall. I don't remember Joss making rounded off corners on the butt inlays. Could it be a Bert Schrager cue?

It's a "Richie Florence" cue by Dale Patten.
