Hey guys,

I have a n old titlist that no one has been able to tell me about other than it was a brunswick stick. Does anyone remember a cue maker that used purple acrylic(with glitter) sleeves on titlist blanks?

Thanks,
Cam H.

As soon as you mention glitter in a butt sleeve it makes me think of Doc Fry.

EDIT: PICS PLEASE!

.

Thank you ChopDoc. I will look his cues up to see if anything looks familiar. I will also be posting pics soon to help in the investigation. Some of the "Ole' Dogs" at the pool hall think it is a Ralph Greenleaf. We shall see I guess.

Here are some pics..Sorry about the quality.

Yeah. I was going on the word of a local cue salesman that it was a titlist. But he had never seen a stick like it. Did the pics bring up a clue to what it might be? Is it even a Brunswick?

Well, I suppose it could have been branded as a Brunswick. My first impression is an Asian import. But the short black butt cap looks like Rich work...but that's very vague.

I don't remember seeing a cue exactly like this but the veneers and dot inlays look Asian.

I think it's a very cool cue but I don't think I know anything more about it. It certainly could be a US made cue I would guess. In the late sixties/early seventies there were a lot of colorful cues made by Rich, Cervantes, National, etc, etc. I'm just not sure about this one.

Dick Abbott just wrote me and said he believes the cue is a Rich Q or a national. Any clue as to how to contact the owner of those cue companies so i could confirm? I can't seem to find a definitive site for them.

Also, does anyone think it would hurt to rewrap the stick with some vintage cortland i bought and to polish the metal end peice?
