Curious about history (year made, if there are any others like it, etc.) of an old 5 X 10 table that I got a good deal a while back, and am now finally working on setting up,.. ( didn't know anything about it's history or even its actual size the day I went to pick it up...owner said it was regulation, found out old regulation/tournament size was 5 X 10),..

I have posted on the main forum (see ------http://forums.azbilliards.com/showthread.php?t=247673&highlight=victor+billiard+table)

I got a few bits of advice finding any info on this style/era table ....Hoping maybe someone on this forum can shed some light on this.. I did speak with Lanza billiards and from photos they said this table looks like one called a Palmer except they had not seen leg design like this one has.

Its a Brunswick not a Victor! The brass name plates were often removed and replaced with the local distributor or pool room name plate!

Its a version of the commander, streamliner Or Moderne tables!!!

Do a search on google for brunswick antique tables and the brunswick corporation has a full list of there tables. You can write to Joe Newell he runs the table history section for brunswick if you want!

Another great source and person to contact is Classic Billiards in Baltimore your home town. Those guys are great! Ask for John!!! He does all the work on my table and most pool rooms in the area. He is the best in these parts hands down. Very comparable to the famous Real King Cobra on this board doing work on your table!

Thanks, I have talked with Lanza Billiards and after they saw photo's they thought table was a model called "The Palmer" only the leg design (fluted)was something that Ed did not recall seeing before ( "Looks like you have something unique ,the style and construction is the Palmer except the fluted design on the corners of the legs, never seen that, the rest is a Palmer,Ed")

. I am hoping somebody else out there has one the same as this and can help more with when this was built.
