Old Viking

I recently acquired this old Viking. It has one matching shaft in perfect condition. The butt has a few tiny finish nicks. The wrap is a newer addition I believe and somebody finished just over the edge of the wrap.

It does have the double threaded Viking joint, which I think is really cool and I can't wait to see how it hits, I have never hit one.

The cue is in really nice shape, missing the bumper, and very straight. I will probably have it refinished one day and have a more appropriate period type wrap put on it (maybe, but it does look good in black), but for now I look forward to trying it out soon and just shooting with it occasionally.

Anybody know or have any idea on a date on this cue? Is it perhaps in any old catalog?

I am currently looking for a bumper for it as it is missing.

I would recommend either KJ or Ryan (RAT) for the parts you need. Also if you wanted to restore the cue, or have a shaft made they could also do that for you. Both will do an outstanding job!

Cool. I was concerned about the double threaded joint as far as extra shafts.

Eventually I want two shafts made and I wasn't sure who other than Viking might have the double threaded shaft inserts.

For now it's in pretty good shape and I don't have the money for restoration.
